Colin McCulloch

Colin, a great board shaper and waterman, lost his battle on Wednesday against the illness he's had for the last year. A few great friends of mine where very close to Colin, and with the circles of kiting/windsurfing/SUP/surf being so close, we all feel some kind of link with each other. Only recently I was looking at his boards and I was thinking it would only be a matter of time before our paths crossed, either on the water, a trip overseas, or in mutual friends company.

To quote Colin from his own blog "I have NEVER just let life come to me. I grabbed it no matter what it was and always took it to the next level."

My thoughts go out to Colin's young family and friends, and I'll be sure to catch a wave or boost a jump for him next week.
